Service can be a bit slow sometimes but their sandwiches are cheap and hearty. Good choice to find a decent bite that can keep your bill in the single digits.

Only been here once, but I ordered the Turkey and Brie sub for $7.00 (no tax); portions were extremely generous and it tasted great! Hard to find comparable prices (for something so filling, worth its price, and fresh) in this neighborhood.

This is a very special deli with very special sandwiches and friendly staff. They will put avocado and alfalfa sprouts and cucumber on your Sammy. Get the Martha or Tasmanian sandwiches. all of the, are great though.i have eaten literally hundreds (thousands?) of them. Also, affordable.

Everyone needs to understand that this is best enormous-sandwich venue in Greenpoint. That's really end of the conversation. Unassuming with its disintegrating awning, tucked back into the far reaches of Franklin St., this tiny bodega produces what I think I'm comfortable saying is my favorite sandwich ever. Yes, I said it. It's the New Mexico. Giant sub roll, a generous stack of fried-eggplant slabs, bean dip, melty pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, lettuce and tomato, pressed like a panini. Something magical happens with the chemistry of these ingredients. And part of the ritual is saying I'm only going to eat half, and then shamelessly going for the win and eating the whole thing. Highly recommended. Worth a special trip, if you like sandwiches.

Every morning, before my coworker moved, I would meet him outside Franklin Corner Cafe before our ride came to pick us up. Every now and then I'd get a pack of smokes, or a Naked juice. The deli, despite its autographed photo of David Lynch, was merely a meeting place. A meeting place with an ATM. One morning, after a day of strong antibiotics, I became flushed. My stomach started stirring. I knew there was little time to waste. I rushed inside, begged to use the bathroom, and they courteously showed me through a rickety door and what followed was probably one of the more horrifying experiences of my life, and the same probably goes for the staff. I did not enter the deli for months. When I finally mustered the courage to return, this time for a sandwich, I was amazed by the menu. There are like a million options, which is NOT good for an indecisive person such as myself. I finally settled on something with turkey, pepper jack and jalapenos. My only beef with this sandwich was that it was LADEN with mayonnaise. It was dripping off the sandwich. And the same goes for every other sandwich I've bought from this spot, save the tuna, sprouts, and avocado on a croissant. But they asked me if I wanted mayo on it. My advice? Get any sandwich on the menu. If it includes mayo, tell them *just a little*. Gorge yourself. Enjoy.

Amazingly affordable and exotically delicious sandwiches. A welcome respite from the sewer of asymmetrical haircuts and discussions of sundry expensive schools that the new inhabitants of Franklin Street have attended (PS mine was Exeter!!) The andre is the business. Il Duce is mussolini-tastic! And you can sit outside with your dog. Although their cat is a total ballsy dick.
